Cardiology · Tetralogy of Fallot🟡 +3½ of 5

Cardiac lesions of TOF include:

(a) Aortic stenosis❌ False · you said True

Aortic stenosis is not a component. The aortic abnormality in Fallot is an overriding aorta — displaced rightward to straddle the VSD, and characteristically dilated, not stenosed.

(b) Pulmonary stenosis✅ True

And it is the component that determines everything — the obstruction alone decides whether the child is pink or blue.

(c) ASD✅ False

Marking is +1 a correct stem, −½ a wrong one, 0 for a blank — the same as the paper.

Three ways to use it.

The same bank, served three ways depending on whether you are learning, testing yourself, or trying not to forget.

Practice

Pick a system, work a topic. Commit to all five limbs, then the card marks itself and shows why each one is true or false — not just the letter.

Exam

A full paper sampled across every system, interleaved so it never runs in blocks. Marked at the end with where the marks actually went, and what to go and read.

Revision

The questions you got wrong come back, timed by a spacing model rather than by whatever you happen to open. Half of each exam is drawn from what is due.

240 stations

Picture stations, answered in full.

A photograph, what you are asked, and a complete model answer underneath. You mark yourself — and what you miss comes back in revision.

  • The photo and the questions in one card
  • Model answer at teaching depth, never cut short
  • 15 systems, from neonatology to genetics
Where the questions come from

Real papers, and it says which.

The bank was built from 253 sittings pulled out of the archive, de-duplicated, and tagged with where each question actually came from. The high-yield ordering is not a guess — it is how often examiners have really asked a question, counted across independent papers.

Straight answers

What it does not do.

  • The questions are real past papers, and the bot tells you which sitting each one came from — or admits when it cannot.
  • Picture stations are marked by you against the model answer, because a photograph cannot be auto-marked honestly.
  • Obstetrics & Gynaecology is not in yet. It says so rather than pretending.
